Cancel 48 hours or more before departure and you get a full refund. Inside 48 hours the seat is non-refundable, because at that point we have turned other anglers away from it.
At that point the seat has been held for you and other anglers have been turned away from it.
If the captain cancels for weather you get a full refund. The call is the captain's and it is made on safety, not on optimism — the boat does not go out in conditions it should not be in.
If a trip does not reach its minimum we contact you before the departure and you choose: a full refund, or move your seat to another date. You are never left guessing and never charged for a trip that did not sail.
There is a 15-minute grace period after the departure time. After that the boat leaves without you and the seat is non-refundable — the tide does not wait, and the rest of the crew paid for the same window.
A seat that is not cancelled and not used is non-refundable.
How to cancel: email CaptainKal@ftacharters.com with your booking reference. A person answers.
Refunds go back to the card that paid, through Stripe. Most banks show them within five to ten business days.
