- How much is a trip?
- Trips start at $150 per angler, with pricing varying by trip and target species. Every date on the schedule shows its own price before you pay. You are buying a seat, not the boat.
- Can I book just one seat?
- Yes. That is the whole point of open boat. Book a single seat and we put the crew together from everyone else who books that date — you will fish alongside people you have not met, which is normal and half the fun.
- How many anglers?
- Trips are limited to 5–6 anglers depending on the target species, giving everyone plenty of room to fish. It takes 3 booked seats for a trip to sail, so it never turns into a crowded party boat either.
- What if only one or two people book?
- If a trip does not reach its minimum we contact you before the departure and you choose: a full refund, or move your seat to another date. You are never left guessing and never charged for a trip that did not sail.
- How do I know my trip is confirmed?
- The trip page shows live status — how many anglers are booked and how many more it takes. You get an email the moment it tips over the minimum. You never have to chase us to find out whether you are fishing.
- Can beginners book?
- Yes. You do not need experience to book a seat. Tell the captain it is your first time when you get on board and he will walk you through the gear, the rig and how to fish it. Plenty of people book their first trip alone.
- Can I book more than one seat?
- Yes. Choose however many seats you want when you book. Take every seat on a date nobody else has booked and the boat is yours for the day — there is no separate private-charter product to hunt for.
- What are we fishing for?
- It depends on the date and what is running. Every trip on the schedule lists what it is targeting and roughly how long it runs, so you know before you pay.
- How long is a trip?
- It varies by trip — each date shows its duration and departure time on the schedule. Inshore runs are shorter than trips that go outside the inlet.
- Where do we meet?

- Is fishing gear provided?
- Fishing gear is available for rent. Inshore setups are $30 and offshore setups are $70. Bring your own if you would rather fish your own rods.
- Can I cancel, and do I get my money back?
- Cancel 48 hours or more before departure and you get a full refund. Inside 48 hours the seat is non-refundable, because at that point we have turned other anglers away from it.
- What if I am late to the dock?
- There is a 15-minute grace period after the departure time. After that the boat leaves without you and the seat is non-refundable — the tide does not wait, and the rest of the crew paid for the same window.
- What should I bring?
- Ask us — the captain confirms this with you directly before the trip.
- What happens if the weather is bad?
- If the captain cancels for weather you get a full refund. The call is the captain's and it is made on safety, not on optimism — the boat does not go out in conditions it should not be in.
